Vocational School

Dual system of education

Standard length of training three years, of which 32 weeks are classes at school, divided into two blocks per year. The remaining time is spent in workshops as apprentices. Entry requirement: the apprentices’ workshop must register him or her annually before October 10th. It is not possible to register for, or cancel specific periods of the program.

Fields of specialization:

• Violin making
• Bow making
• Plucked instrument making
• Woodwind instrument making
• Brass instrument making

Full Time Vocational School

Full time training program

Standard length of full-time training 3 ½ years (violin making program) or 3 years of full-time training (plucked instrument and brass instrument making programs). To be accepted one must fulfill the application requirements and pass the selection procedure.
